Two Mythical Visits

Easter weekend was filled with fun, including two mythical creatures.  Yes, the Easter Bunny came for a visit, but so did the Tooth Fairy.

We celebrated Easter on Saturday at my parent's house with an outside Easter egg hunt and family time.  It was a beautiful day so we were able to run around, play hide-and-seek and enjoy the cool breeze off the lake.  I even got a long motorcycle ride with my dad!

On Sunday we woke up and had a little Easter egg hunt with the girls in our living room, followed by a big breakfast.  We then headed off to church.

After coming home for some much needed naps, we headed to Nate and Jess's house for a Troxel get-together, which included yet another EAster egg hunt.  The girls loved finding all the eggs and opening them to find wonderful surprises.

On the way home, Avery told us she thought she was going to loose her tooth soon.  (It had been loose for several weeks.).  Not a minute later she announced "I just lost my tooth!"  This is the third tooth she has lost, but this time it is front and center.  She was so excited and she looks so stinkin cute with the gap in her smile.  At prayers that night she said "This has been the best day ever ... The Easter bunny came, we had egg hunts, Jesus rose from the dead and I lost a tooth!"  The Tooth Fairy was so tired that he/she forgot to visit and had to run in real quick in the morning and get business taken care of.  Luckily Avery slept in a bit so that he/she could finish up.  The Tooth Fairy must have had a busy Easter weekend as well.

I just love her new toothless smile!
