I Love Family Traditions
Last night we had our own little family tradition that we started last year. We got all dressed up in our "fancy" clothes, and we headed downtown for a nice dinner and to see the Christmas lights on the Circle. This year we headed to P.F. Chang's to enjoy some delicious Chinese food. We don't make a habit out of eating out with the girls very often, so this is a big treat for them. We are hoping that next year we can add a carriage ride to the night.

Today we had another Christmas holiday tradition - cookie baking! My mom and I started getting together every year after I got married to bake all of our Christmas cookie together. We do 4 -6 different kinds in one day. It is so much fun now that the girls are old enough to join in the festivities. It was a sugar-filled day at our house today!

Mamaw Debbie shows the girls how to make cut-out cookies.

Avery masters the rolling pin.

Mamaw and Mia work on making her cookies perfect!

Mia loved icing the cookies.

Do you see that Christmas twinkle in my eye?
