Mother's Day Tea
Today I had the pleasure of treating my mom for a change. Since I was in the hospital for Mother's Day I never got to "give" my mother her gift - a trip to the Ruby Pear Tea House in Noblesville. So, six months after the fact, I was finally able to say thanks to my amazing mother for all that she does and all that she is!
Initially I had planned on just my mom and I going, but changed my mind and decided the girls would enjoy it way too much to leave them at home
We had such a wonderful time. Avery found us all tea hats and boas. Avery even started talking with a bit of a British accent, like I do when we play tea at home. It was incredibly cute! She told our waitress that the tea was "splendid!" Ha-ha! The girls both had wonderful manners, especially Avery who was all about being proper. Our favorite treat of the day was the dark chocolate orange scones. They were still warm and oh so delicious.
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
