Yesterday was the day my husband has been waiting for all summer (actually for three years, but who's counting!)... the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts!  It was quite an exciting day.  We decided to take Olivia with us, while Avery and Mia spent time with Papaw and Pam. 

The new stadium is incredible.  Not only is it huge, it is quite impressive.  The main entrance opens right up into an amazing view of the field.  There is also a huge open window on one side of the field that you can see all of downtown Indianapolis from, along with the retractable roof.  We were able to find out seats, which are pretty good, I must say.  We were also able to go down to the field and check out the Colts' locker room.  Chris and Avery are heading to a pre-season game next Sunday, so it will be interesting to see how the new stadium is for an actual game.  I can't wait to go to one myself!
