This weekend was a whirlwind of events for us.  On Saturday we had three birthday parties to go to.  Two of them were siblings and at the same house, so that helped.  It was actually quite fun getting to see so many of our friends.  And of course, everyone was excited to see Olivia.  She tolerated all the partying quite well. 

Then on Sunday, my dad came for a visit.  He hadn't been down to see the girls for awhile and was anxious to see and hold Olivia.  We were able to have a little cookout and catch up.  He spoiled us with tons of fresh veggies from his garden.  Of course, I was anxious to try a new recipe, so I made squash bread last night.  It reminded me a lot of zucchini bread - same idea.  Yum!  

Later on Sunday, my wonderful friend Megan came over to take pictures of Olivia (and Avery and Mia too!).  She is a resident pediatric doctor right now and has very little free time so it meant so much to me that she used some of her spare time to do this.  She has an amazing talent!  Don't worry, I will share the pictures soon.  She sent me some last night and they are beautiful.  I think Megan might have inspired a budding photographer....  although Avery still insists she wants to be a "hair stylist" when she grows up.
