Cutest Button Nose
This morning I had another ultrasound. Olivia looked great and measured between 28-29 weeks, which is about a week ahead of where I am actually at in gestation age. So, that is great news! We even got some 4-D ultrasound pictures, which allowed us our first real looks at our daughter. She had her face all scrunched up, and she has the cutest little button nose and very full lips. I thought she looked like a true Troxel at first, but the more I looked at the pictures, something reminds me of my family as well. It made me even more excited to meet her for the first time and see all her little features. (I wish I had the pictures to scan...)I suppose the bad news is that my cervix continues to shorten, even on complete bed rest. There is not much else we can do, but this probably indicates that there is a a slim chance I would make it to full-term or even to 34-35 weeks, which is when the doctor had talked about sending me home with a medicine pump. They also had to reduce my magnesium level a little bit after having a bad morning where I became faint, required oxygen and was quite nauseated. They checked my blood to see what was going on and they said my mag level was a little high, plus I had low sodium, calcium and blood sugar. As the day progressed, I started to feel better and am a little more steady on my feet now. Hopefully this will completely pass by tomorrow.
To help me see our progress, Chris made me this calendar on my dry erase board.... tomorrow is my five week anniversary of bed rest. Ahhh!!

Good evening Cheryl,
I am glad you and the girls are enjoying the kangaroo. I am sorry to hear you were not feeling well again. I am still praying for little Olivia and the rest of her family. I hope the decrease in the magnesium will make you feel better and not hurry the little sweet girl along, Talk to you soon.
