.. A GIRL!!!  Yep, that's right, another little girl will be joining our tea parties soon.  So, to answer a few questions, I thought I would go ahead and make a list of the most common ones:

Q.  Are you disappointed?
A.  Nope, although we would have loved to have had a boy, we are just as happy to have a girl.

Q.  Do you know you will have three daughters all in their teenage years at one time?
A.  Um, we didn't think about that until today, but pray for us. 

Q.  Are you starting a savings account for weddings?
A.  Perhaps, but let's hope they marry rich.

Q.  Are you sick of pink and purple?
A.  Nope, but the baby's room will not be in either, since the girls' shared room will have already taken those colors.

Q. Will you be buying stock in Tampax?
A.  Seems wise at this point, but again, pray for us.

Q. Will you have more children and try for that boy?
A.  Ahh, we like to keep people guessing, but it appears Chris "cannot buy a Y" at this point.  Perhaps we will stop when we have enough for a softball team.

Actually today's appointment followed a very stressful day for us.  We spent most of yesterday in the maternity ward getting monitored and tested.  It turns out I have an enlarged kidney that was causing a big stink, but we will take that over pre-term labor, right?  The kidney seems to be settling down a bit after a round of heavy narcotics, so all is well again.  Baby Girl is healthy and we are so happy to hear that!  Woo-hoo!
