My mom and I decided last minute to take the girls down to Holiday World for a fun little adventure.  We left on Monday and stayed in Jasper, Indiana.  I got to meet up with one of my best friends, Jessalyn, and her daughter and mother.  We enjoyed the hotel pool and dinner with our friends.  It was a relaxing evening to prepare for our big day.  The next morning we continued our journey down to Santa Claus, Indiana.  When we arrived Avery could hardly contain her excitement.  She experienced a lot of "firsts" that day:  first rollercoaster (loved it!), first water slide (loved it!) and first wave pool (loved it!).  We spent most of our time at the water park, where Avery played and played.  She was so brave and went down two huge water slides, one which was in a tunnel and completely dark.  Even I was scared.  Mia was mostly along for the ride, but did eventually enjoy the lazy river.  She relaxed enough that she even took a nap.  Needless to say, we came home very exhausted and have been recuperating all day.  Here are some pictures from our trip.
