So, I completely forgot to mention Mother's Day in my previous blog and I don't want that to go unmentioned. Chris made Mother's Day very special by getting up early and making me the most amazing Almond French Toast.  Chris does not cook/bake a lot so he was nervous about how it would turn out and he did an amazing job and worked so hard.  I have never tasted such wonderful French toast!  He also topped it off with the most beautiful exotic flowers and a lovely trip to the zoo as a family.  We met Nate, Jess and Geneva there and shared the beautiful afternoon looking at animals.

My own mom was working that day so we didn't get to celebrate with her, but she deserve something truly spectacular to thank her for being an amazing mother.  These last few years have been very stressful and she has continually found ways to relieve some of that stress and show us her love.  She is an amazing mother and grandmother (mamaw!).  We love you mom!
